Allen Solly- My World, My Way

Ogilvy & Mather has released another ads campaign for Allen Solly. The ads masterly blend photograph with illustration to express the new theme “My world, My way”. Several characters were featured in the ads with their crazy behaviour.

Subliminal Ads

Some examples of subliminal messages in advertising. Are they deliberate by the companies involved, or just coincidence picked up by viewers?

Cool Sticker Advertising

Something so simple, can be so effective. Below I've picked out some cool ways that stickers can market a business.

Cool HP &Tron:Legacy Projection Mapping

This is one of the coolest outdoor exhibits i’ve seen in a long time…I only wish it wasn’t all the way in London so I could see it up close in person.

This is the HP ePrint & Tron: Legacy Experience live projection mapping on the roof of the QEH on London’s Southbank. It was created with 6x18k projectors onto a massive projection canvas that was somewhere in the ballpark of 50m wide by 20m tall. An 8k D&B sound rig provided the killer audio taken from snippets of the movie soundtrack (Written and Recorded by none other than Daft Punk).
Here’s an overhead shot to get a better gauge of the massive scale of this audio/video exhibit:

Weird Security Ad

Photo

This is the innovative marketing campaign for 3M glass manufacturers. Putting money inside the glass.
This isn't quite as stupid as first thought though. There is only actually $500 inside the security glass stacked on top of regular paper and although from the photograph the ad looks unattended, there was always a security guard within metres.
This was in fact a competition run by 3M, whoever was able to break the glass was entitled to the $500 inside, one rule....Only use your feet.
I'm pretty sure the burglars trying to break in to my workplace will be more heavily armed than simply the soles of their feet.

The Poster Which Can See You

This is the revolutionary new poster which recognises when people are looking at it, and responds in accordance.
Yes, really! The poster uses an 'eye-tracking' camera to pick up the human eye looking in it's direction.
The poster above is an example of the camera in use, showing a regular couple when you look at it, but when you look away all is different. As you can tell the poster is supporting against domestic violence.

One question, how do we ever see the poster's image when we aren't suppose to be looking?
